You can stay in Arthur Shelby's Peaky Blinders home near Liverpool

The home of notorious Peaky Blinder Arthur Shelby is closer to Liverpool than you may think.

The hit TV series is set in Birmingham but filming also took place in Liverpool and its surrounding areas, meaning fans can visit places that appear on TV in the North West.

Peaky Blinders fans have the chance to stay at the exact cottage Arthur Shelby called home and it is just a short distance from Liverpool.

Hawthorn Bank in Cheshire is now available for visitors to book to stay on the HomeAway website where you can stay for approx £227 a night.

The cottage, which can sleep up to eight people, is set in the charming Tatton Estate village of Rostherne next to Tatton Park.

The BBC show's cult following are again glued to their TV screens for season five and fans are flocking to tourist sites used by producers as locations.

It’s been revealed recently that the popularity of hit TV show, Peaky Blinders, has driven tourism in Birmingham by 2.5% - as reported by BBC.

HomeAway offers customers the chance to stay at the home in which Arthur Shelby took residence in season four of the show.

You might recognise the doorway from when Arthur drunkenly came home to his wife and the lounge was also used as an interior set for Arthur’s home.

There is a four night minimum stay, however the owners can sometimes facilitate shorter stays for a premium and can even organise one of their hot tub supplier for during your stay.

They only accept such bookings within two months of your stay.

Whilst renovated with modern creature comforts, they do have some of the quirks found in older countryside properties.
