You can see The Flying Scotsman just an hour from Liverpool this week

The Flying Scotsman will be making its way through Cheshire this week as part of its tour of North Wales.

For passengers there will be some incredible views of the North Wales coast and Cheshire countryside this Friday as the iconic railway engine undertakes another journey, reports Cheshire Live.

Onlookers will be able to catch a glimpse of the train as it stops at Crewe station at 09:58am and 6:38pm.

The journey starts at London Euston just after 6am on November 8, heading northwards to Crewe, where the Flying Scotsman will be attached to a vintage electric 86259 Les Ross.

This means steam train enthusiasts could catch a glimpse of the iconic train before it is attached just before 10am.

The train then heads through the seaside towns of Rhyl and Colwyn, where passengers will see views of the Irish Sea and the Great Orme at Llandudno.

The Flying Scotsman will take a brief pit stop before continuing on its journey to Holyhead before heading back towards London Euston.
