'You can see' - Harry Maguire sends Manchester United warning to Liverpool and title rivals

By Mark Wakefield

Liverpool have been sent a warning over the Premier League title from the Manchester United camp.

The league season is just three fixtures old, with the Reds amassing seven points with two wins and one draw so far.

Tottenham Hotspur went into the international break as the only club to win all three of their opening games, while Liverpool are among a cluster of teams with seven points to their name.

One of them is Man United, who like Liverpool have had an unbeaten start to the campaign and have drawn a lot of attention in the transfer market following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

United captain Harry Maguire is about to start his third season at Old Trafford, and has sent out a title warning to rivals.

Maguire believes that United are continuously improving, and will pose a threat to the likes of Liverpool in the quest for silverware this term.

"I feel like over the last couple of years, we've progressed so much,” Maguire told YouTube channel UMM.

"From where we were two years ago to where we are now in terms of winning football matches but also on and off the field.

"You can see the way we want to have a lot of territory in games, create chances and score goals.

"If we improve like we have done in the past two years over the next year or two, we'll be where we want to be."
