You Can Rep Your High School Team in College Football 26… Sort Of

College Football 26 offers you a wide variety of customization. You’re able to create your own character in Road to Glory, make a coach in Dynasty, and even import custom college teams that you personally design from the ground up. However, if you’ve played any Road to Glory in College Football 26, you might have wondered about how to get your custom high school into the game. After all, you start your career in high school during the mode, so is there any way for you to design which high school you play for before choosing a college?

We’ll be talking about all of that in the guide below. However, make sure to also check out our guide on the best sliders for College Football 26, in case you want to increase your difficulty across all game modes.

How To Import High School Teams In College Football 26

So, right off the bat, there is no official way to make your high school team in Road to Glory. The default high school teams when you first start playing Road to Glory can’t be changed.

However, this really isn’t a bad thing, as the high school experience in Road to Glory in CFB 26 has been altered significantly from what it used to be. Now, all you get to do in high school is play through a series of key moments throughout your senior year. You don’t get to play full games with your high school team and you can breeze through the key moments in basically no time at all. This means you’ll only see your high school for the first 30 or so minutes of Road to Glory.

Repping Your High School Requires Some Imagination

Fortunately, nothing is stopping you from importing your custom high school team and using them as your college of choice in Road to Glory. You can fully utilize the Team Builder function in CFB 26 to create your personal high school and use it for the majority of your Road to Glory playthrough.

So, while you wouldn’t be using your high school team for the actual high school portion of Road to Glory, you could still play for the school during the college portion, which takes up nearly all of a playthrough of the mode.

How To Use Team Builder To Make A High School Team

If you want to play as your personal high school in Road to Glory, you can fully do so by using Team Builder. We have a more in-depth article on how Team Builder works in CFB 26 if you want to check that out, but here are the basics:

  • Go to the Team Builder website, log into your EA account, and link your account to your console
  • Choose the “Create” option on the front page of the website and start going through the process of making a custom team
  • This includes picking the name, logo, uniforms, colors, stadium, and even roster members of the team. You could theoretically hand-select every player on the roster to match your personal high school team. Team Builder allows you to name each player, give them a position, and adjust their attributes
  • Once you’re done customizing your team, save it and then go into Road to Glory in CFB 26. You’ll now be able to import the custom team at the start of a playthrough

With your new team now available to play as in Road to Glory, you can go through the entire mode with your custom colors, uniforms, stadium, and more.

However, if you wanted, you could also use the custom team in Dynasty mode in CFB 26. You can import the same teams in that mode as well, but in that mode, you’d be the team coach. You can import a custom team at the start of a Dynasty playthrough, and after that, everything works the same as it would if you selected an existing college team. You can recruit players, play games, and make decisions about the team.

That about covers it all when it comes to using a high school team in College Football 26.
