You can now visit the I'm A Celebrity... toilet where the likes of Naughty Boy and Danny Miller perched

Visitors to Gwrych Castle will soon be able to visit a different type of throne - one perched on by a number of celebrities.

Frequented by the likes of Danny Miller, Naughty Boy, Vernon Kay, Giovanna Fletcher and more from the I'm a Celebrity cast over the past two years in the North Wales residency, you too can now also visit the show's privy.

The loo is among a selection of new features for visitors when Gwrych Castle re-opens on April 1.

The toilet is arguably the most famous in Wales, seating a list of celebrities from it's stint in 'I'm a Celebrity'. ITV bosses confirmed earlier this month that the hit TV series would no longer be based in Wales and would return to its original home in Australia, following an easing of restrictions from the pandemic.

Following the show's second season in North Wales, Gwrych Castle bosses thanked I'm a Celebrity in a heartfelt statement, saying: "It's not been an easy ride for yourselves with the pandemic and most recently the storm to deal with, but we'll be forever grateful for your support and hard work."

The new route for visitors will be accessed through the castle's new visitor centre, with access to the newly opened west wing of the castle, also known as the 'clink' and unique photo opportunities with an I'm A Celebrity green screen allowing visitors to become their own Kings and Queens of the jungle.

The outside area of the 'clink' will be viewable in 'show condition' with a new pop-up cafe in the coach house being open with indoor seating.

Kiosk Cledwyn's shop will also be viewable from the inside, minus the lovable, chatty shopkeeper.

More details surrounding the tour are to be released in the coming days but you can pre-purchase tickets to avoid disappointment by clicking here.
