NotebookLM has quietly launched one of the most requested features of bulk URL uploads. It allows you to upload multiple links simultaneously by simply separating them with spaces or new lines.
ICYMI, amongst all of the excitement, we silently launched one of our MOST user-requested features:

✨Bulk URL uploads✨
To upload multiple URLs at once, just make sure each link is separated by a space or new line. (Heroes? Us? We're just doing our jobs. 🫡🫡🫡)
This feature addresses a long-awaited pain point for users who earlier had to input URLs one by one. The new bulk upload support should make it easier for researchers, students, and content professionals to build notebooks faster using online sources.
Along with the announcement, the NotebookLM team also acknowledged the lack of longer audio overviews in non-English languages. However, the company has assured that the issue turned out to be more complex than expected, but it will be ready soon.
However, the bulk upload feature is not the only new feature that the platform has received in recent times. For example, a week ago, the company rolled out the Video Overviews, which are a visual alternative to its existing audio summaries. It’s also a much more powerful upgrade as it allows you to understand complex concepts or data-heavy topics more intuitively.
Though it’s worth noting that these Video Overviews, like their audio counterparts, are currently available only in English. However, you can personalize them by setting specific learning goals, adjusting the tone for different audiences, or focusing on particular topics.
Apart from that, the company has also revamped its Studio panel, now allowing multiple outputs of the same type (such as summaries, FAQs, or timelines) within a single notebook. This makes it easier to work on multiple versions of the same content or explore different interpretations of a source.
