You can now stay in Marilyn Monroe’s Beverly Hills Hotel bungalow

The Beverly Hills Hotel has been a Los Angeles institution ever since its inception in 1912, with stars like Katharine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, John Lennon and even royalty like Princess Margaret residing there at various points over the past century.

Now the iconic hotel has paid homage to one of its most famous residents, Marilyn Monroe, by renovating her bungalow in the actress’ honour.

Guests can now book to stay in Bungalow 1, the bungalow that was favoured by Monroe during her week-long stays at the hotel. The bungalow is one of five ‘legendary’ bungalows the hotel is opening this year, with the others inspired by Frank Sinatra, Charlie Chaplin, Elizabeth Taylor and Howard Hughes.

Monroe’s spacious bungalow is surrounded by 12 acres of exotic flowers and lush gardens, but it’s the interiors that will keep guests coming back for more.

The opulent – and very Instagram-worthy – bathroom is made of a warm pink marble, and comes with Chanel No. 5 amenities plus a Monroe-inspired Champagne bubble bath to enjoy in the luxury deep tub.

The abode also boasts a Chanel No.5 fragrance bar, a gold-leafed ceiling and a library of Monroe’s films and books.

When you’re not relaxing in your private bungalow, the hotel also offers a number of bars and restaurants to choose from along with a luxe spa with seasonal yoga classes. The hotel is located on Sunset Boulevard, making it the perfect base for your next LA adventure.
