You can now stay at Wales' highest penthouse that no one has ever lived in

If you fancy a night away in one of Wales' most exclusive penthouse suites which has exceptional views across Swansea Bay and the Brecon Beacons, your dreams are about to come true.

The Meridian Penthouse is Wales' tallest penthouse and it's housed in Wales' tallest building, The Tower at Meridian Quay in Swansea.

The accommodation - which is 26-floors up - was built more than a decade ago but has never been occupied - now you can rent it from £499 per night, and the price goes up to £2,000 per night when special events are on in the area.

It boasts unrivalled panoramic views across Swansea, North Devon and the Brecon Beacons, and you can lie in bed taking these in, or even hold a meeting in the 16-seater boardroom, if you're not too distracted by the sights outside.

The 4,000 sq-ft penthouse has four super king bedrooms, a sea view lounge, the boardroom with terrace, open plan entertaining space, and private access to the established Grape and Olive restaurant and Sky Bar.

Owners Meridian Quay Ltd – run by Swansea-born Phil Lake - acquired the 107-metre-high site earlier this year, which includes the Grape and Olive and six smaller residential blocks housing a further 45 apartments.

Nightly rental prices will range from £499-£999 per night, and up to £2,000 per night for specific events and private dinner parties for guests occupying the Penthouse.
