You can now get Lotus Biscoff ice cream at your local supermarket

Luxury biscuit maker Lotus Biscoff has introduced a new ice cream which is now available at you local supermarket.

The caramel biscuit creamy dessert comes on sticks, meaning you can eat it on the go.

The ice cream's centre is made up of velvety caramelised biscuit dairy ice cream with little bits of the famous biscuit crumbled within..

The dessert is covered in Belgian milk chocolate that's been combined with even more caramelised biscuit pieces, the Mirror reports.

Whilst you can certainly get them at Waitrose  (they're currently on the posh supermarket's site for £3.89 for a pack of three), several people have suggested that you can also get them at Morrisons and Tesco.

News of the dreamy ice creams was originally spotted by money-saving mum Holly Smith on her Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, where lots of people are commenting saying they've seen them in their local supermarket.

One user named Rebecca Jackson said 'Saves me doing a bowl of ice cream & crumbling lotus biscuits all over it', while Josie Pembery added 'First found them with my coffee few years ago, then I bought up all supplies in France! Now over here too my absolute favourites biscuits. Will try the ice cream sticks sure they will be just as yummy!'.

However it turns out that the ice creams were first announced to be crossing the pond all the way back in February, on the Lotus Biscoff Twitter, for anyone that wanted to stock up on the summer staple early.
