It’s the moment many chocolate fans have been waiting for, and now it’s finally here. One of the nation's favourite chocolate brands, Galaxy has launched a new orange flavoured bar.
Galaxy Smooth Orange, is now available nationwide online and in-store at major retailers, Sainsbury’s, Amazon, Morrisons, Tesco and more, so chocoholics can get their hands on the bars during their next food shop.
Priced at £1.39 for the large bars and just 66p for single bars, the indulgent affordable treat is perfect for snackers to enjoy over the Easter holiday.
Commenting on the new release, Ellyse O’Connor, Galaxy Senior Brand manager, said: “Galaxy Smooth Orange is kind of a big peel and I encourage Brits to squeeze the day, give their peel of approval, and treat themselves to a Galaxy Smooth Orange chocolate bar next time they’re in the shops! Disclaimer: Thankfully, Galaxy Smooth Orange is infinitely more palatable than these terrible puns!”
Galaxy first announced the arrival on their Instagram page and labelled it ‘the power couple we’ve been dreaming of’ - and we couldn’t agree more!
We also spotted the bars on food blogger @KevsSnackReviews Instagram page, with Kev saying the orange flavour was milder than other products.
Telling fans: "This is typical Galaxy, sweet and milky with a hint of orange flavour, but it’s nowhere near as distinctive as Terrys chocolate orange or even as good as Cadbury's orange buttons."
However, it seems others can’t contain their excitement of the new release on Twitter with one fan stating: “Galaxy Smooth Orange is the chocolate orange moment we've all been waiting for.”
Another chocolate lover said: “The orange galaxy chocolate is divine.”
According to Mars Wrigley (the company that makes Galaxy ), the zesty flavour of the smooth and creamy Galaxy treat was developed by Mars Wrigley’s team of chocolate experts and has been perfectly balanced to compliment the distinctively delicious Galaxy taste.
