You can now get cannabis-infused, vegan frozen yoghurt in London

Who needs to wake and bake, when you can wake and scoop?

Health-conscious dessert purveyors Yogland have concocted the world’s first frozen yoghurt that is infused with cannabis.

The vegan “Hemp Matcha” – which is infused with Cannabidiol, commonly known as CBD – has gone on sale at its Westbourne Grove location.

Vegan

While you won’t quite be getting high off this supply, the serving’s vegan matcha base (yes, it’s vegan too) is laced with 40% CBD oil.

CBD oil is derived from the cannabis plant, but is a non-psychoactive compound, unlike cannabis’s other main component Tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC).

Legal CBD oil is used by some in the UK to combat health problems ranging from joint pain to anxiety.

Sadly, servings aren't being sold at £4.20, but at £4.95 for an eight ounce scoop instead.

Move over avocado – there might just be a new green food trend on the horizon.

The Hemp Matcha is on sale at the west London location of Yogland for a limited time only. For more information, visit yogland.com
