You can now get an entire Christmas dinner in a box delivered to your house

From dry turkey, soggy broccoli and roast potatoes that are finally ready an hour after everyone's finished eating... cooking a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings is hard work.

So finally someone has had the common sense to put it all in one big box together, complete with recipes on when everything goes in the oven.

The special Christmas edition Hello Fresh boxes include a full Christmas dinner, including a full butter-basted turkey, rosemary roast potatoes, stuffing, pigs in blankets, gravy and four different types of vegetables - including a honey and thyme roasted roots, slow-cooked spiced red cabbage and even a sprout gratin. Just call us Gordon Ramsay.

You can even add a pudding into the mix too, with a choice between a cheeseboard with crackers and chutneys or a panettone bread and butter pudding.

The only downside is that it will probably cost you more than your average Aldi shop, setting you back, £73.99 for the four-person box, excluding dessert.

On the plus side, it's available to everyone as a one-off, so you won't need to be a HelloFresh member to get it.

The full menu includes:

  • Butter-Basted Roast Turkey with Pigs in Blankets and Stuffing Sides
  • Perfect Rosemary Roast Potatoes
  • Sprout Gratin
  • Honey & Thyme Roasted Roots
  • Slow-Cooked Spiced Red Cabbage
  • Green Beans
  • Super Easy Christmas Gravy

Optional extras include:

  • Dessert - Panettone Bread and Butter Pudding
  • Cheeseboard - Selection of cheeses with crackers and chutneys

Boxes will be delivered to customers on the 22nd December, with everything all pre-portioned so there's plenty of food with minimal waste.

You can pick between different box sizes depending on how many people you're expecting, with the options feeding between four to ten guests.

As always with Hello Fresh, everything comes with recipe cards that have photos and the essential timing plan, so it's all ready at the same time, and for the first year over, you won't realise the parsnips are still in the oven and now charcoal four hours later.
