Apprentice star Sabrina Stocker has launched a new service which allows people to book an online supermarket delivery - even if the supermarkets have no slots available.
Shopping Slot has hit 3 million page views and has gained nearly 500,000 users during lockdown.
And as well as allowing users to search multiple supermarket at once for a delivery slot, it also now allows you to book a 'shifter' who will go to the shop and get your shopping for you - if no delivery slots are free.
The service is a partnership between Shopping Slots and home furniture movers Shift.
Sabrina, 24, co-founder of Shopping Slot said: "Customers were still struggling to secure a shopping slot as supermarkets were buckling under the pressure.
"We decided to create a solution instead of waiting for the supermarkets to step up."
When you find a ‘Shift Slot’ on the Shopping Slot search results page, it means there is a shifter who can go into the supermarket, collect your groceries & deliver them straight to your door.
This is a paid subscription, which costs £8 per week for unlimited deliveries which pays for the time of the shifter.
Since partnering just over a week ago, Shift Slots have already seen more than 10,000 click-throughs from engaged customers.
Jacob Corlett, 25, Founder of Shift said: "Like many British businesses, we have felt a massive decrease in demand from our company's core competency (shifting home furniture).
"Rather than furloughing our movers and drivers, we have decided to change our product offering to customers."
