You can now get a boozy brunch delivered to your door in Bristol

Going out for brunch, both bottomless and normal, can be a stressful ordeal.

The burgeoning popularity of the meal between breakfast and lunch has led to crowded cafés and oversubscribed waiting lists.

However, you can now enjoy all the benefits of a boozy brunch in the comfort of your own home.

Bristol-based brekkie specialists the Epic Breakfast Company have launched a new 'Brunch Box' range which can be delivered to your door.

The boxes contain pre-portioned ingredients for two weekend breakfasts as well as either a bottle of Prosecco from Corks of Cotham, bloody marys or red snappers, or mimosas, delivered in time for the first meal of the day on Saturday.

One element of the box is the artisan pastries (Epic Breakfast Company)

There are three box sizes, for one or two, three and four people.

One meal comprises 'local artisan' pastries from the Assembly Bakery in Old Market, while the box will also contain ingredients for a full English with meat, veggie or vegan ingredients depending on your preference.

All include homemade Emer’s Epic baked beans, pre-cooked bubble & squeak, mushrooms, herby garlic stuffed and oven-roasted tomatoes and white sourdough bread.

The meat option includes smoked back bacon, sausage and award-winning Scottish black pudding, all free range from Murrays Butchers on Gloucester Road, as well as local free range eggs.

The veggie and vegan options include seitan, wheaty gran chorizo from Matter Wholefoods and Bury’s vegetarian black pudding, with either eggs or avocado.

As well as having the box delivered to your door, there is no plastic packaging and you don't even need to wash up the containers afterwards.

The crate can be collected on Saturday lunchtime or early on Sunday evening.

Added to that 50p from every box sold goes towards support for a school breakfast club.

Prices are from £35 depending on when and for how many people you order.

Epic Breakfast director Ollie Edwards said: "These are designed for those special occasions, for a more social brunch with friends at home, and perfect to give as a gift.

"Ideal as a Mothers Day thing to do, either to get delivered to theirs, or in your own household. Boxes delivered on March 30 will include free flowers."

The company launched its standard 'Breakfast Box' back in November. These are still available but don't include the booze.

The company is currently running a social media campaign giving someone the chance to win a Prosecco Brunch Box for two people until April 4.
