You Can Now Declutter Your Gmail Inbox with a Single Click

Gmail is launching a new tool to help you clean up your inbox by tackling the growing pile of subscription emails. The feature is called “Manage subscriptions,” and it groups all your active subscriptions in one place, which makes it easier to review and unsubscribe from newsletters, deals, and promotional emails you no longer care about.

These days, our inboxes are often flooded with daily deals, brand promotions, and blog newsletters. According to Google, the new tool gives you a way to take control back. The interface shows the most frequent senders, how many emails they’ve sent in recent weeks, and offers one-click unsubscribe options. It means no more digging through individual messages or hunting for tiny unsubscribe links.

Moreover, to access the tool, you can tap the navigation menu on the top-left corner of Gmail and select “Manage subscriptions.” From there, it’s just a matter of clicking on a sender to view all recent emails and decide if you want to continue receiving them.

The feature builds on Gmail’s earlier efforts to improve inbox management. If we go by the official blog post of the company, they already block over 99.9% of spam, phishing, and malware, and recently introduced AI-powered tools that reduce scam emails by 35%. The new subscription view adds another layer of user control, making it easier to see what’s worth keeping and what isn’t.

The rollout has started for users on web, Android, and iOS, but availability is currently limited to select countries.

In a separate update for developers, Google has launched a new Batch Mode for the Gemini API. This mode is built for large, non-urgent AI workloads and costs 50% less than standard API calls. While it doesn’t deliver real-time responses, it can handle jobs like bulk content generation, data labeling, and benchmarking with results available within 24 hours. It’s a clear play for high-volume enterprise use cases where cost efficiency matters more than speed.
