Bristol workers can now commute in a near-empty executive coach or open-top bus courtesy of an on-demand bus service.
Snap, the bus and coach crowdsourcing platform, has introduced 'Covid-secure' transport in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The company previously transported people from city to city for as little as £5, with the catch being that the coach only runs if enough people have booked tickets on to that trip.
It's new service works in a similar way, with members registering on a certain commute or route. When there are enough matches with other people going your way, you choose whether you want an executive coach or open top bus.
Snap has confirmed the bus services will operate in Bristol if enough people express interest on its website.
A spokesperson for the company said: "It's a crowdsourced service so it's in response to demand. If enough people want it, then it will happen!"
Passengers just have to register their commute on the Snap website and when there's enough matches, you book just the days you want.
The company has also introduced a number of measures to keep commuters safe. The website reads: "You’ll be picked up by a thoroughly sanitised, executive coach.

"No-one will have sat in your seat before you do (unlike on the train).
"Boarding is ticketless via a driver app. No contact required.
"There’ll be full social distancing on board: just 12 people on a 50 seat coach
