You can now buy Terry’s Chocolate Orange mini eggs for just £1 at Tesco

Terry's Chocolate Orange fans rejoice! For the fruit-flavoured treat is now not just for Christmas, but Easter too.

So if you're down that the holiday celebrations are over, chocoholics will be glad to hear that the confectionery company has now been seen selling bite-size egg shaped versions of the festive chocolate.

Despite Easter still being more than three months away, the mini eggs have been spotted at Tesco for £1 per 80g bag.

While sporting the same familiar blue and orange packaging, the bags feature small chocolate eggs encased in a brightly-coloured shell.

Although other retailers are yet to confirm whether they will be selling them as well, there will still be plenty of time to bag yourself some as Easter Sunday won't take place until April 12 this year.

The egg-citing treat was first unveiled on NewFoodsUK Instagram page, where the post has since garnered more than 7,000 likes.

It comes just days after pictures of one Co-op store in Yorkshire went viral for its already lined shelves of Easter eggs.

The store on Crescent Street faced backlash from some shoppers for offering Easter confectionery just three days after Christmas.

Pictures showed shelved lined with a number of fan-favourites, including Cadbury's Mini-eggs, Smarties eggs, Maltesers Bunnies and Cadbury's Creme Eggs.
