After the last few weeks of humidity it's hard to remember what life in Edinburgh was like before this heatwave .
Whether you're travelling to work, trying to get to sleep, or just sitting on the sofa wishing you had aircon, it's seems to be inevitable that you'll be constantly sweating.
However, it turns out that there's a solution to help combat all that excessive perspiring: frozen bra inserts.
For those whose chest is particularly suffering in the heat - or are just seeking an innovative and secret way to cool down - a pair of Bra Coolers could be the answer to all your borderline heatstroke prayers.
A bit like the famous chicken fillets from the days of yore, they come with 100% cotton covers, so are machine washable and completely re-useable for all summer long.
Sold by Polar Products , the inserts will apparently freeze solid at just 14 degrees, and can then be inserted straight into whatever bra you're wearing and voila! Perfect all day body cooling.
Sadly, you'll also have to order them from America, so they may not arrive before the heatwave is over.
However, we did spot plenty of similar bra cooling inventions on Amazon, most of which were designed for breastfeeding mothers but that we're sure will work just as well to keep you cool in this heat once they're put in the freezer - and they're a lot cheaper.
For £6.19 on Amazon you can get some washable and reusable gel pads that naturally conform to the shape of your breast, or there's some slightly less bulky ones for £5.59.
