If you love gin and you love cake, then one retailer might just have the perfect new item for you.
B&M has united two of the nation's favourite treats, for a brand new range of drinks.
ChronicleLive reports when it comes to gin, a standard drop of mother's ruin is no longer enough for some people, with an ever growing number of weird and wonderful flavours on offer including parma violet and Lidl's new colour-changing gin.
And now B&M has played its gin trump card. The discount store has released another original flavoured gin this time in the form of Battenberg cake.
The pink liqueur has a subtle taste of marzipan and vanilla cake and costs just £9.99 for a 50cl bottle.
If you’re not a Battenberg fan not to worry the retailer is offering two other mouth-watering flavours to opt for, Cherry Bakewell Tart and Lemon Drizzle cake, also both priced at £9.99.
Within a matter of hours, a post about the Battenburg Cake gin liqueur had attracted over 5,000 comments from excited shoppers.
Someone posted "Omg I soooooo need this !!!" and another exclaimed "finally a gin that I'll like!"
