You can now buy a sharing tin of Lindt truffles for Christmas

Lindt is set to launch its first ever sharing tin of truffles in time for Christmas 2020.

Following in the footsteps of Quality Street, Roses, Celebrations and Cadbury Heroes, the luxury chocolate maker say the tin will contain six different flavours of the popular Lindor chocolate truffles.

So, as Manchester Evening News report, you will no longer need to buy the smaller Lindt boxes for the chocoholic in your life as each sharing tin containing 32 individually-wrapped sweets.

New for this year, the 400g Lindor Assorted Tin features the iconic, red-wrapped original chocolate, plus white, extra dark, milk and white, hazelnut, and the new salted caramel flavour.

They are available now at Tesco, Sainsbury's and Lindt stores (both retail and online) for £15 a tin.

But shoppers may be able to snap them up for just £10 with some stores running an introductory offer.

If your favourite Lindt truffle isn't included in the festive tin, fans can curate their own with a Lindor pick and mix.

The chocolatier launched the pick and mix stands in 72 Sainsbury's stores last year following a successful trial.

The stands feature different flavours of Lindt Lindor including milk chocolate, mint, dark chocolate, orange and strawberry and cream, plus caramel, white chocolate, hazelnut, coconut, sea salt and stracciatella Lindt.

Prices for the pick and mix start from £3 for eight balls, going up to £5 for 14 balls and £10 for 28 balls.
