You can now buy a giant Ferrero Rocher which weighs half a kilo

Chocolate lovers are in for a treat this Christmas as they can get their hands on a giant Ferrero Rocher ball.

The huge half kilo ball of fudgy brownie and Nutella-flavoured milk chocolate wafer is covered in handfuls of caramelised hazelnuts and a layer of hazelnut praline.

Ferrero Rocher's traditional chocolate hazelnut snack was established in 1979 and has now been given a sizeable upgrade from the Bad Brownie company.

The giant chocolatey treats will be sold for £26 and is actually a single Ferrero Rocher treat wrapped in a large fudgy brownie exterior, HullLive reports.

Known as "The Ambassador's Golden Ball", this concoction is also dusted with fine golden dust to make it look like a proper Ferrero Rocher with the metallic foil wrap on it.

While you may think you could take on the whole treat on yourself, it's suggested you split it into six to eight servings.

But if you really want the whole thing to yourself (who can blame you?) you'll be glad to hear that the treat can last up to two weeks refrigerated.

Bad Brownie also sells a variety of gourmet brownie treats with vegan and gluten-free options available in the UK.

Creative concoctions by the company include a bacon brownie and a mince pie brownie bar which can be bought from their site.

The founders, Morag Ekanger and Paz Sarmah, appeared on Dragon’s Den in 2016 where they convinced dragon and retail expert Touker Suleyman to become a shareholder with a £60,000 stake.
