The British Fashion Council is to launch a new consumer event at London Fashion Week.
This season, fashion fans will be given unprecedented access to see-now, buy-now catwalk shows, industry talks, retail spaces and innovative consumer experiences.
Called London Fashion Week: Insiders, the new format will be a two-day event held within the official Show Space at The Store X at 180 Strand during London Fashion Week.
The Insider runway will be jam-packed with London Fashion Week designer highlights, including Fyodor Golan and Osman, who will preview their SS19 collections that people will be able to buy straight from the catwalk.
Highlights will include a Positive Fashion talk series featuring BBC Earth and sustainable fashion designer Amy Powney of Mother of Pearl. The talks will focus on the impact the fashion industry has on the planet while giving consumers practical take-home advice on how to make sustainable fashion choices in their own lives.
LFW Insiders will even get a royal-approved tote bag, designed by Richard Quinn, who won British Emerging Talent Womenswear Winner in 2018, when his show was attended by none other than Her Majesty The Queen, who sat front row.
There are two types of ticket available: Insider and Front Row. The £135 Insider ticket comes with shopping experiences, a London Fashion Week seat to the catwalk show, access to the Insiders' lounge, the fashion talk and a Richard Quinn tote bag. The Front Row ticket, for £245, is that extra step up with all that and more, including a front row ticket, access to the VIP lounge, complimentary champagne and a Richard Quinn tote bag filled with fashion and beauty goodies.
