You can now buy a bed designed specifically for gaming

You can now buy a bed designed specifically for gamers. The Drift is available in three finishes, all of which feature vibrant LED lights, which frame the perimeter of the bed frame and headboard, to create the ultimate gaming atmosphere.

All styles hold a built-in TV with a lifting mechanism at the foot end, which hides away when it’s time to sleep. The Drift also houses storage for games consoles, features headset holders and USB ports on each side, and is available with matching bedside chests with stands for resting your controller.

Available in Small Double, Double and King sizes, with prices starting from £1,799. The Drift comes as standard with a 32” TV, with an option to upgrade to a bigger screen. Ottoman storage is built in, but customers can upgrade to a Sleepmotion base to game in complete comfort. In selected stores and online from 24 October.

Fabio Perrotta, Dreams Director of Buying, says: “We’ve seen a real shift in attitudes towards gaming since the pandemic, as well as a demand in people wanting to enjoy the gaming experience in comfort and style. Dreams understand that beds are so much more than just a place for us to rest our heads, which inspired us to create the first ever gaming bed available up to King size.”
