You can now book to stay by the I'm a Celebrity castle in North Wales

The spotlight has been firmly on North Wales as the region plays host to ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The 20th series is taking place at Gwrych Castle, a ruined 'Disneyesque' style manor in the hillside above Abergele, close to the Welsh coastline, with campers staying within the crumbling walls of the historical site.

Producers have taken control of the 250 acre estate, along with a neighbouring farm park and golf course to allow for filming to take place.

And soon, fans of the immensely popular show will be able to spend the night against the backdrop of the celeb castle.

Bookings are now open for stays at Manorafon Touring Park, and it's the closest fans will be able to get to staying overnight at Gwyrch itself.

Staying at the castle itself currently isn't possible - but there are projects in the pipeline aiming to supply permanent lighting and running water at the site - and eventually apartments within the grounds.

But the neighbouring farm, located at the foot of the castle estate and overlooked by Gwrych itself, is now accepting bookings for Spring 2021.

Manorafon is currently being used by the show, so it's firmly closed off to the public until next year, but the site will reopen again once the series is done and dusted.

And its in a pretty gorgeous location too. Nestled between countryside and coastline with views towards Gwrych Castle, it's surrounded by the rolling hillside and just a stone's throw from Abergele town centre.

It's also just a few minutes from the expressway - offering access to the rest of north Wales.

The site is a touring and camping park, meaning holidaymakers will need to bring their own caravans or tents, but it has plenty of facilities - plus direct access to the popular farm park attraction itself making it perfect for young families.

Visitors are just a short walk from Gwrych Castle, accessed from a path from Manorafon up towards the castle estate.

Bookings for Spring 2021 start at £17.75 are available now via the Manorafon website
