You can now book spa breaks with your dog and you both get totally pampered

If you hate the thought of leaving your beloved pooch at home while you saunter off for a day of relaxation at the spa, one hotel has come up with an adorable solution.

The Ringwood Hotel & Spa in Chesterfield is offering dog owners the chance to treat their doggos to a spa day, whilst they pamper themselves in the luxury four star spa.

Your dog won't be getting to come to the human spa itself - but they will be spoiled head to paws off-site.

The 'Pampered Pooch Experience', in partnership with Georgina's pet sitting service, will see dogs greeted at the hotel's reception before being chauffeured to a pet sitter’s home, set in the heart of Derbyshire overlooking the stunning rural scenery.

The pet sitting service has a no kennels policy, meaning no whimpers, just your best friend enjoying all the head pats and walkies he'd usually miss out on.

Owners are kept up to date throughout the day on how their dog is being spoiled, so they can enjoy the hotel's facilities and make the most of the luxurious spa on-site.

Oh, and for an extra touch of pampering, dogs at the day off-site pet-sitting service will also receive a complimentary bandana AND a goodie bag filled with treats.

There are three packages to choose from and they're all seriously luxurious.

For example, the Garden Secret Spa VIP Package includes an exercise walk through the sprawling grounds, a lavish shampoo massage bubble bath to help soothe and relax your pooch's muscles, a pedicure and paw soak (with a deep paw moisturising balm, an ear cleanse and even a fragrance cologne finish.

Package prices depend on your choice of treatments and the size of the dog, but prices range from £35 for a small dog to £75 for extra large pooches. (You can find out more on the Ringwood Hall Hotel website.)

For an additional fee dogs can also enjoy a spot of lunch at the hotel, as their owners tuck into an afternoon tea.

On a budget but want to treat your puppy?

Spa hotel booking website SpaSeekers is currently offering you the chance to win a spa day for you and your dog at Ringwood Hotel & Spa, after research from the brand revealed that an increasing number of spas are allowing dogs to come as their owner's guest.

To take part in the competition, you'll need to share a picture of your dog before and after bath time on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #doggyspabreak. Make sure to tag @SpaSeekers too or your entry won't be counted.

Oh, and make sure to do so by the 31st January 2020 when the competition ends.

You can find out more about the competition on the SpaSeekers website here.
