A holiday is the perfect excuse to indulge, and new chocolate themed UK breaks offer up the opportunity to do just that!
We're talking stays in chocolate-themed rooms, in-room treats, a chocolate afternoon tea, tasting experience and even chocolate workshops.
Hotel Indigo York has created three packages catering to various budgets, with heaps of delectable treats on offer for guests.
Each of the packages includes a stay in one of the boutique hotel's chocolate-themed rooms complete with dark panelling to look like chocolate squares, antique jelly mould lampshades, and quirky furnishings such as cushion covers that look like sweets and Smarties. Oh, and there are in-room chocolates for guests of course!
The level of indulgence depends on which of the three packages, aptly named Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate.

The Milk Chocolate Package starts from £77 for two people (Approx £38.5pp) and includes an overnight stay in a chocolate room, complete with a hearty breakfast in the morning.
The White Chocolate Package starts from £117 for two people (£58.5pp) and includes the overnight stay and breakfast, as well as a delectable Chocolate Afternoon Tea at the nearby 5* Grand York Hotel.
We're talking a menu boasting the likes of a hazelnut and chocolate dip, dark chocolate and vanilla yule log, chocolate and orange tart and white chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup.

Don't think that will quite satisfy your sweet tooth?
Then you may want to check out the Dark Chocolate Package for two people (£81pp) which includes the overnight stay, breakfast, afternoon tea and the choice of a chocolate tasting experience or chocolate workshop at the nearby York Cocoa House.
The packages will be available for summer 2021 - you can find out more and book on hotelindigoyork.co.uk/special-offers.

There's also heaps for chocolate fans to explore in York. The city is steeped in the food's history, notably as it's where Rowntree’s created Kit Kat, Smarties and Aero, and Terry’s first produced the Chocolate Orange.
If you want to find out more, there's even a chocolate attraction and museum called York's Chocolate Story.
While we still can't travel properly yet, this is one we'll be adding to the list for post-lockdown adventures!
