Whisky fans can now book overnight stays at a whisky distillery in Scotland, including a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the what it's like to be a distiller for the day.
Oh and yes, of course the stay includes an exclusive whisky tasting, as well as a bottle of Single Malt Scotch Whisky to take home.
The Annandale Distillery in Northfield has opened up for bookings on Airbnb, which includes the experience, tasting, an evening meal and your two-night stay in a cottage next to the distillery itself.
Meanwhile the cottage has everything you could want for a cosy stay too including an open plan kitchen and lounge, and a large deck complete with an outdoor hot tub.
That means meeting the malt delivery in the morning, milling and mashing the barley, and even firing up the stills and filling the casks.

According to the listing, "You’ll get to help our team in every element of the process that goes into making our whisky, from meeting the malt delivery in the (early!) morning to milling and mashing the barley, fermentation, firing up the stills and then filling the casks.
"You’ll also get an exclusive whisky tasting and an evening meal at our pub The Globe Inn, Dumfries, where you’ll walk in the footsteps of our most famous former patron, Robert Burns, and sample the cooking of our brilliant Michelin Star-experienced chefs."

(It's worth noting that dinner won't be on offer for the June dates as the restaurant reopens in July).
The distillery stay and distiller experience will be available across four dates in 2021:
- June 8-10
- June 22-24
- August 4-6
- August 17-19
Prices start from £479 for the two-night break, and the bookings are open for up to two people. You can find out more and book on the Airbnb listing.
