You can nominate a key worker for a free week's stay in a Dorset holiday cottage

We all know a key worker who's been working tirelessly during the pandemic, and now thanks to Dorset Cottage Holidays, you could bag them a free week's holiday to show your appreciation.

That's because the travel firm is inviting members of the public to nominate a key worker for a free week's stay in Dorset, with a choice of a wide array of the brand's chic cottages on offer.

Oh, and they'll get to bring three family members with them along for the getaway too!

All you need to do is nominate them by April 1, and they will be entered into the prize draw. The winner will get to choose which cottage they stay in for the week (up to the value of £600), and there are some tempting properties on offer.

We're talking locations spanning the Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle and Purbeck Villages, with some homes boasting luxurious perks from sea views to hot tubs and open fires. Oh, and there are plenty of pet-friendly properties too if they want to bring their pooch along.

Know who you want to nominate? Simply send their name, job title and contact details to leanne@dhcottages.co.uk.

The only criteria is that they must be 'classed as an essential worker by UK government standards', and that they need to be a resident in the UK. (They will be asked to provide proof of their key worker status to claim the holiday).

The winner will be selected at random on April 2, 2021.

Dorset Cottage Holidays MD Leanne Hemmingway said "As a family run business, we recognise and appreciate the efforts and sacrifices that essential workers have made to keep us all safe and fed during the Covid-19 pandemic. We wanted to show how much their hard work means to us.

"We’re encouraging as many people as possible to put names forward to be entered into the holiday prize draw - the only eligibility criteria is that the person nominated must be classed as an essential worker by UK government standards.

"The draw will be held on April 2 and we’ll be happy to recommend a few of our beautiful holiday properties here in picturesque Dorset to the lucky winner."
