A zoo is offering a special service for jilted lovers this Valentine's Day - the chance to name a cockroach after your ex.
Former partners can pay just $5 (£3.65) to dub a bug ahead of February 14, which will then be fed to one of the animals on the big day.
And people who think their exes to be particularly snaky can pay $20 (£14.60) more to have keepers feed a frozen rat to a resident reptile.
The 'Cry Me a Cockroach' event is being held at San Antonio Zoo and will be livestreamed on Facebook.
Anyone who buys a cockroach also receives a social media certificate - meaning you can tag your former lover in the video.

The zoo said on its website: "Back by popular demand!
"San Antonio Zoo returns with the perfect remedy for your broken heart with our second annual ‘Cry Me a Cockroach!’ fundraising event.
"You will be able to symbolically name a cockroach after your ex, and we will serve it up as an enrichment treat to one of our animals for only $5.

"If your ex was a snake, you can name a pre-frozen rat after them, and we will feed it to a reptile for $25!
"New for 2021, you can also symbolically purchase a herbivore option for those roommates who never pick up after themselves or for the people you’ve been stuck with in quarantine for $5, and we will feed them to one of our vegetarian animals!
"On Valentine’s Day, February 14th, we will be showing our ‘Cry Me a Cockroach!’ feeding frenzy on our social media pages!
"Birds, reptiles, and mammals from San Antonio Zoo will join in on this feast."
Entries are open until the evening of February 13. First names only will be shown.
