It was the frosty phenomenon of 2013 and the hype hasn't let up since. With a sequel on the way and temperatures dropping, there's a good chance you know a little (or big) kid who would get slightly excited about the chance to meet Elsa and Anna from Frozen this winter.
And less than an hour's drive from Bristol, their dreams can come true on the ice with a special event in Wales.
The Great Skate at the Celtic Manor is an annual event featuring an ice rink set against a backdrop of twinkling lights and festive sounds in the resort's rooftop garden, and this year the frozen favourites will be on hand to help you glide around the ice.
As well as swirling around with the cartoon heroes to Christmas music, there will be an array of traditional Christmas market favourites, including sizzling German Bratwurst will be on offer, in addition to sweet treats, winter warmers and festive tipples.
The Great Skate event runs from November 22 until January 5, and tickets start from £6.
The resort will also host other Christmas events including The Nutcracker on Ice, from December 11 to January 5, featuring the Imperial Ice Stars at the nearby International Convention Centre Wales, with tickets starting from £20.
You can also enjoy a festive afternoon tea with Santa from November 30 until the end of the year, where children can enjoy a special group story time with Mother Claus and write their ‘wish list’ to Santa, before the big man himself drops in to deliver a small gift before Christmas.
Prices start from £24 for adults and £12 for children.
