You can hang out with adorable alpacas at this fun Borders brewery this weekend

A historic brewery, distillery and cafe in an old mill is hosting a cute meet and greet with alpacas on Sunday 13 October.

Born in the Borders is a fab new visitor centre located next to the Scottish Borders Brewery, and set on the picturesque banks of the River Teviot an hour outside Edinburgh in the Borders.

It's got a food and drink shop, a goods and gifts shop, a stunning cafe and restaurant, riverside walks , picnic spots and brewery tours, and on Sunday they will also have a bunch of friendly alpacas for you to hang out with.

The alpacas are from Bierhope Farm, and they'll be offering mini treks on the day, so you can lead them around and have a bit of fun with the adorable animals . If you like what you see, you can join Bierhope for a longer trek at their base in the Cheviot Hills.
