You Can Get to Tahiti for Pretty Cheap If You Act Right Away

The demand for travel has been booming ever since vaccines became available, as people have been wanting to make up for the year that they missed.

One thing the pandemic reminded us is that life is short and unpredictable, so if there’s something you want to do in life, it’s better to scratch it off the old bucket list as soon as possible.

DON'T MISS: Here's Who To Blame For All Those Flight Cancellations

So if you’ve ever had a hankering to really see the world, then United Airlines (UAL) currently has a special that might be of interest to you. You’ll have to act fast, though

The airline recently announced its 42nd MileagePlus anniversary sale in economy class, which will hit many far-flung destinations. It’s only available for some MileagePlus cardholders and Premier members at the moment, but general members gain access to the sale on Thursday.

If you have enough miles you can get some seriously deep discounts with this sale. You can fly round trip to Tahiti Faa'a International Airport for 42,000 miles plus $117.95 and get a round-trip flight to Brisbane Airport, Sydney Airport or Melbourne Airport for 60,000 miles plus $94.25.

You will have to book, directly through United, by 11:59pm on May 6. The trip must take place between Aug. 15, and Dec. 10 of this year.

It’s possible you will need to grab a connecting flight, depending on where you live, as not every airport will make these flights, though San Francisco International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport will.
