You can get paid £300 to binge watch sci-fi and they'll even pay for your Netflix

A merchandise store is offering to pay someone £300 to binge on TV - as well as covering all the cost of a year's subscription to the major streaming services.

In return, Lost Universe is asking the winning candidate to rate three movies or TV episodes of choice from the latest superhero/Sci-Fi/fantasy releases.

"Okay, so you may not have received your Hogwarts Acceptance Letter, got bitten by a radioactive spider or been gifted dragon eggs at your wedding, but all that doesn’t matter any longer, because now you can get paid to watch the stories of the characters who did," the job advert reads.

To help you in your quest, they'll sign you up for a year's worth of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +, NOW TV - Entertainment Pass and YouTube Premium.

Oh, and on top of the £300, you'll get a a £30 voucher to spend at  lostuniverse.com. Five runners-up will also get a £30 Lost Universe gift voucher.

Lost Universe is looking for someone who "lives and breathes pop-culture" for the role.

To apply the company is asking people to recreating a superhero/Sci-Fi/fictional character pose, either on Facebook or Instagram, mentioning the name of their chosen character in the description.

Make sure you tag @lostuniverse.club in the post and use the hashtag #bingewatcherdreamjob to be considered.

You also need to be a UK resident aged 18 or more.

Lost Universe will judge entries based on creativity and following the superhero/Sci-Fi/fictional theme - and don’t require professional pictures, costumes or attire.

Applications are open until 28th October 23:59 the winner will be announced on 2nd November on the Lost Universe website and social media.
