You can get packages to Italy's Chocolate Festival from £99pp including flights

Chocolate fans, we may have just found your dream getaway AND it's budget-friendly too!

We're talking a charming, colourful Italian town, a few days abroad... and a huge chocolate festival.

The Eurochocolate Festival in Perugia, Italy, offers all the different types of chocolate you could want, heaps of vendors showing off their handmade creations, loads of fun workshops and more surprises. All with beautiful views of the Italian landscape!

Now, you can bag cheap holidays there from £99pp - and that includes your return flights, a hotel stay at the 4* Perugia Plaza Hotel , a stone's throw from the action, and travel dates during the festival.

Wowcher has teamed up with Bargain Late Holidays to offer Perugia getaways from £99pp, and that includes travel between the 18th-27th October when the festival is on.

You can book the Wowcher deal online but you'll need to do so by midnight on Saturday 7th September when the deal expires.

You can choose from two-night holidays, or there are also three-night holidays from £129pp and four-night breaks from £149pp.

The best part is that entry to the festival is free (although you'll need to pay to taste the chocolates or if you want to take part in the various workshops and tastings to be found!).

It's worth noting that the deal is based on two people sharing a room so you'll need to buy two vouchers. Meanwhile, the £99pp rates are based on return flights from London Stansted.

If the chocolate festival doesn't appeal, there are travel dates included until the 25th March 2020 so you do have a bit of leeway!

There's still plenty to explore in Perugia.

In fact, the city is renowned for its defensive walls and its medieval architecture - make sure to leave time on the itinerary to wander around and take in the picturesque streets.

Meanwhile, the museums and cathedral can also make for brilliant ways to while away a few hours. TripAdvisor has a handy guide to the top 10 best Perugia attractions .
