In case you didn't have it written down in your diary already, you should know that today is National Taco Day, and if you're a respectable human being you'll be celebrating in the only acceptable way - by stuffing your face with as many tacos as is physically possible.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Taco Bell is well up for celebrating, and is giving out free tacos all day in Manchester. Brilliant news.
For one day only, the Mexican food chain will be treating shoppers to its Doritos Locos Tacos, and you won't have to spend a penny to try one.
All you'll need to do is head to your nearest Taco Bell today (4 October), and ask for a Doritos Locos Taco. You'll then be handed one for free - though if you want anything to accompany it you'll have to pay for that.
'What is a Doritos Locos Taco?' I hear you say.
Well, it's a taco made with a delicious tangy cheese Dorito shell, and then stuffed with seasoned beef, crisp shredded lettuce and real cheddar cheese. YUM.
The Doritos Locos Taco has been on sale in the US for a while now, and has quickly become the most popular product in the Mexican-inspired brand’s 50-year history.
After a long wait, it's finally coming to the UK, but as it's limited edition it won't be around long - so if you want one you'll have to get a jog on.
