You can get your hands on fish and chips for just £1 this lunchtime as part of a chippy’s big launch event.
The Fishermans Wife has been based in George Street for five decades but today it moves to a new home inside Kirkgate Market.
The fish and chip shop’s new venue is in the market’s popular food court.
Today, as part of their big opening, they are selling a small portion of fish and chips for £1. Between 11.30am and 1pm the offer will be running.
Also, the event will have a special guest with celebrity chef Brian Turner popping to the opening.
