Amazon has launched a Prime Day deal early by cutting the price of its Echo devices by 50%.
The Amazon Echo fourth generation device is on sale at £25, down from £50. The Echo uses Alexa voice control and can answer questions, play music and podcasts, give news updates and control smart devices such as lightbulbs, Fire Sticks and others.
However, Amazon has also launched a deal on the previous generation Echo Dot. The third generation Echo Dot is now £19.99 - but there is a way to get it even cheaper.
It works by signing up as a new member of Topcashback, which is offering £10 off Amazon buys for the duration of Prime Day. You can get the Echo Dot for £9.99 using the deal here.
Topcashback is offering the deal to all new members and it is completely free to sign up.
The discount is also available on the fourth generation model - notable for its domed shape - bringing the price down from £25 to just £15. Other devices such as the Ring doorbell (now priced at £35), the Amazon Firestick and other products on sale.
Amazon Prime Day launches at midnight on Sunday and runs for 48 hours across Monday and Tuesday. The sale is one of the biggest online shopping days of the year and will feature discounts on thousands of items including TVs, laptops, headphones, toys and gaming.
The Amazon Prime Day sale will feature Lightning Deals on items which will be available for short periods of time or until they sell out. Amazon Prime members will be able to get a first look at the deals.
