You can get a McDonald’s Big Mac for just 99p next week

When it comes to McDonald's burgers, we always dreamed of the perfect compromise between the reliable 99p cheeseburger and the iconic Big Mac.

And now our prayers have finally been answered, as McDonald's has just announced that you can now get its famous Big Mac burger for just 99p next week. Yes, really.

All you have to do to get it is download the McDonald's app, which is free to download on both Android and Apple phones.

Annoyingly, the offer is only available for one day only, on the 5th November, so mark down the date in your diary if you don't want to be left 99p Big Mac-less.

Set you alarms, burger fans (McDonalds)

Usually setting you back £3.19 for the burger alone, the 99p deal means you save a decent £2.20 altogether, although you may want to bring your own water with you, as the offer doesn't include fries or a drink.

Arguably the brand's most famous burger, the Big Mac comprises of two beef patties sandwiched between three slices of bun, topped with a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, and of course, the esteemed Big Mac sauce.

With the news originally spotted by The Sun, once you've got the McDonald's app, you'll then need to register an account but once you've done so, you'll be able to order anything off the McDonald's menu from your phone, before you've even entered the restaurant.

The offer doesn't include chips or a drink though (Bloomberg)

To get the 99p Big Mac deal, just head to the 'deals' section of the McDonald's app, and select your nearest McDonald's from the drop-down menu where you can go collect it.

You have from 00.01 and 23:59 on November 5th to get your 99p Big Mac, although obviously your local branch will need to be open for you to get it, and you can't just go knocking on the door at 11.30pm an hour after they've closed.

Out of the 1,200 branches of McDonald's in the UK, only 127 branches accept the offer though. You can see the full list of participating branches here.
