You can get a free pint at pubs across UK next week - but there's a strict rule

Everything tastes better when it's free, especially booze.

And next week lots of people will be able to enjoy a pint of lovely cold, creamy Guinness without opening their wallets.

The celebrate its 25th birthday O'Neill's is running an exciting promotion - but there's one very strict rule, reports the Manchester Evening News .

To qualify for a free pint you'll have to be called Neill. Or Neal, Neale or O'Neill.

The offer is running in several locations, including the Printworks pub in Manchester.

General manager Danielle McKeefrey said: "Myself and the whole team are really excited to celebrate 25 fantastic years of O’Neill’s with the people of Manchester.

"We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than to share our special day with fellow Neils. We’re looking forward to welcoming our wonderful guests to join with us in raising a glass and joining in the craic for this huge birthday celebration!"

The offer is available between April 22 and 26.
