You can get a free beer from BrewDog if you vote in the General Election

Thursday's General Election is the first to be held in December for almost a century.

And those who turn out to have their say on December 12 will be rewarded with a free beer from BrewDog.

Voters just have to take a selfie outside a polling station or take a postal confirmation on election day.

Just remember not to take a picture while actually casting your vote because that's against the law.

Participants can choose one beer –  either IPA Punk AF, Nanny State or Vagabond.

"We want to reward anyone voting in the General Election with a Punk IPA on us. Whatever your views, whatever your status, every vote was created equal," BrewDog 'captain' and founder James Watt said.

"We're not affiliated with any political party, we don't care who you vote for, but we would like to buy you a beer. Whatever is next for our country, drinking great craft beer might just get us through it."

'Vote Punk' first appeared during the 2017 General Election and with the opening of BrewDog Swansea, they now have 50 UK BrewDog Bars, so hopefully one exists within your constituency.
