If you have ever wanted to solve a murder or dissect a body then now is your chance. For coming to Wales in May 2022 is a new live event, which allows you do do just that - but it's not for the faint-hearted.
The Post-Mortem Live offers people a rare insight into a post mortem and audiences will actually dissect the human body to learn about the organ systems, including a real kidney, stomach, intestines, lungs and heart.
Audiences will be told they are solving the case of a Rachel Harri who was last seen at around midnight on October 1 before her body was discovered on December 18. They will have to work out how she died and use forensic entomology, the study of insects, to try and work out how long the body has been left for dead. To do this audiences will pull live maggots and pupae casings from the dead body using forceps.
