You can book an enchanting 'treehouse' that's the stuff of childhood dreams

Get ready to let your inner child run wild thanks to a magical new treehouse staycation!

Forget a rickety treetop shack - here you can expect cosy bedding, a roll top bath, and a spacious deck where you can sip on coffee while taking in the surrounding countryside views. Oh, and for major fairytale-worthy credentials, there's a huge ash tree trunk which runs through the property too.

Eathelin in Worcestershire has everything you could want for a dreamy stay, complete with perks such as a private outdoor hot tub and a firepit for those chillier autumnal nights.

Basically, it's a major contender for the UK's best treehouse stays.

Nestled in a working farm, when you arrive at the site you'll find the likes of lakes and meadows making up your surroundings, with a winding path taking you up to the remote treehouse.

It's not actually located within treetops, but the wooden home has been handcrafted and inside it has all the makings of a romantic escape with plenty of space to relax.

In fact, it's been handmade by the owner entirely from wood as part of a 10-year project.

It makes for a pretty dreamy stay (Sugar and Loaf)

Inside you'll find a stunning lounge, kitchen and dining area, all surrounded by eye-catching decorative yew wood panels, while the large windows allow heaps of natural light to flood in.

At night, switch on the colourful handcrafted lights, and there's a warming log-effect electric fire for those cold winter nights.

Definitely one we'll be adding to the bucket list.

The treehouse boasts a remote countryside setting (Sugar and Loaf)

When morning dawns, you can step out onto the balcony and drink in the sunshine quite literally, with a refreshing cup of tea as you breathe in the country air.

Although the property feels like you're a million miles away from civilisation, there are plenty of places in nearby Worcestershire and Herefordshire to explore, while hikers won't be disappointed thanks to being located near the likes of the Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley.

Want to book a a stay? The property sleeps two people, with seven-night stays costing from £700pp. You can find out more on sugarandloaf.com.

Sadly, the property isn't open for children under the age of 14. However, if it is family holidays you're after, we've got plenty of fun ideas for memorable holidays including themed hotels kids will love, fairytale-inspired stays, Harry Potter themed breaks and UK safari lodges with views of the animals.
