Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news that Ashley Cole has retired from football.
The 38-year-old spent the back end of the 2018/19 season with Derby County under the guidance of new Chelsea boss Frank Lampard but left the club this summer.
Cole began his career at Arsenal and won the Premier League title twice plus three FA Cup trophies and two Community Shield victories with the Gunners.
The former England star won another league title with Chelsea after making a controversial move to Stamford Bridge in 2006. He also picked up four more FA Cup medals, a League Cup and Community Shield win plus Champions League and Europa League honours.
A move to Roma came about in 2014 and he joined LA Galaxy in 2016 before his aforementioned brief stint at Derby.

The former England man was capped 107 times for his country , making his debut in a World Cup qualifier against Albania in 2001.
