'You are in my heart forever' Heartbreaking update from pensioner, 81, who married toyboy Egyptian, 36

An 81-year-old pensioner who married an Egyptian toyboy is 'skint and alone' after returning home from her spouse's homeland.

Iris Jones travelled to Egypt and married Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham, who is 36, but the pair have been separated amid the pandemic due to visa issues.

The OAP has posted a heartbreaking update over their relationship, admitting there's days when she is 'just crying all the time'.

Iris - who has frequently appeared in national media publications as well as daytime TV programmes like This Morning - has been left gutted at not being able to spend time with Mohamed.

He is unable to get a spousal visa and so remains in Egypt for now,

Iris has broken her silence, Birmingham Live reports.

On social media, Iris shared a gif of a red love heart made out of rose petals, and captioned the post: "For my husband, you are in my heart forever".

Mohamed replied: "I am for your forever" before Iris said: "Thank you Honey."

Iris told the Metro: "I get days when I’m alright and other days when I’m just crying all the time.

"I’m separated from someone I love, it’s so hard. I haven’t got time on my side, his lawyers know that.

"I’ve had to go over there three times and come back without him.

"I keep on at Mohamed to get his law firm to hurry up with the visa, I don’t know what the delay is, but it is complicated.

"When I was over there I was spending £50 a day on accommodation, and when you work out £50 a day for three months, I’ve come back skint.

"Although Mohamed is an engineer, the money over there is absolutely lousy. I get more in benefits from the Government here than he does in wages over there."
