Ey up… when it comes to one-night stands, Yorkshire Tykes some beating.
More than eight out of 10 in England’s biggest county have confessed to having a passionate brief encounter, a survey reveals.
And it narrowly pipped the North East – home to the bed-hopping stars of MTV reality hit Geordie Shore – with roaming rompers hitting 76 per cent.
The North West – with its clubbing meccas in Manchester and Liverpool, plus Kiss Me Quick resort Blackpool – came in third at 72 per cent.
Nationwide, 65 per cent of us – around 35 million – admitted to a one-nighter in the survey carried out by sex toy website Lelo. It also found five per cent of Brits confessed to doing it at least once a month.

And an exhausted one in 100 admitted to one-off nookie with a stranger at least once a week.
But anyone looking for a quickie should avoid the East of England – which came bottom in the top 10.
And on the world stage, Lelo found randy Britain is in second place, behind Spain.
Lelo’s Marcella Zanchi said: “One-night stands can be thrilling and exciting experiences.
“However, we would caution that, as with any sexual experiences but particularly with a new partner, people should act safely and responsibly.”
