Yorkshire Tea had the most brilliant response to a Black Lives Matter critic

British tea brand Yorkshire tea took a far-right Yorkshire-based YouTuber to task last night, after she tweeted that she was 'dead chuffed' with Yorkshire Tea had appeared to have not supported the Black Lives Matter movement.

Responding to the YouTuber's claims, the tea brand told her 'please don't buy our tea again'. GO ON YORKSHIRE TEA.

The brand said it stood against racism in the post, following scenes of incredible solidarity in Black Lives Matter protests across the world.

The exchange started when  account @thisislaurat, tweeted: "I’m dead chuffed that Yorkshire Tea hasn’t supported BLM."

Yorkshire Tea's official account replied: "Please don't buy our tea again.

"We're taking some time to educate ourselves and plan proper action before we post. We stand against racism.

"#BlackLivesMatter."

Within a couple of hours, the response had been liked more than 10,000 times and retweeted more than 3,000 times.

PG Tips later waded into the row after a customer warned they would switch to the rival brand over Yorkshire Tea's 'bulls**t stance', reports Yorkshire Live.

The label told the Twitter user 'you're going to have to find two new tea brands now'.

PG Tips tweeted #solidaritea in response to the woman's post, expressing its support for the fight against racism.

Former rugby union England international Brian Moore added: "Well done."
