Yorkshire folk 'are keenest Brits to join the Mile High Club' survey claims

Flippin' Eck! Yorkshire folk are the Brits most likely to join the Mile Aye Club.

Lads and lasses from God’s Own Country are keenest to indulge in a romp at 30,000ft, a survey claims.

The poll found one in five had got it on while on a plane – double the average for the whole country.

And they are five times as likely to get flirty on a flight as people from the South West, the least daring area with just one in 25 admitting to it.

Kate Moyle, sex therapist for wellness firm Lelo, says the urge for a high-flying romp is linked to a more outgoing upbringing.

She said: “These cultural narratives influence our sexuality and play a big part in establishing ‘norms’, even if they are unspoken.”

Around the world, Brits come fifth, with the French heading the list.

Among stars to have admitted joining the club are reality TV star Kim Kardashian, model Cara Delevingne and actor Liam Neeson.

But beware. Under the 2004 Sexual Offences Act it can carry a fine up to £1,000 or six months in jail.
