Yokosuka to open walk-through PCR test center

The Yokosuka municipal government in Kanagawa Prefecture on Friday will open a walk-through PCR test facility in the city's emergency medical center's parking lot to collect specimens in order to detect the new coronavirus. The nurses reach through a pair of gloves fitted to a transparent pane to collect the necessary specimens. Each test is said to take roughly 10 minutes, and the city is aiming to test about 60 people a day for the time being.
