Police are on the hunt for vandals who have wrecked part of a World Heritage Site in Falkirk.
Officers were alerted to the incident at The Antonine Wall Rough Castle Bonnybridge earlier this week.
They reckon it happened between Monday March, 1 and Monday March, 8.
Parts of earth has been cut and disturbed, according to landowners.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "This is a world heritage site and the damage is a criminal offence.
"Earth has been cut and disturbed.
"Please phone 101 incident 2595 15/3/21."
