Yobs target Grangemouth park undergoing £192k regeneration project

Yobs have once again targeted a Grangemouth park undergoing a £192,000 regeneration project.

Officers from Police Scotland are on the hunt for thugs who vandalised, what they're describing as 'park property', over the weekend.

Last week we told you how a dumper truck was nicked and later found dumped in the Grange Burn nearby.

The latest incident in the Zetland Park is believed to have happened on Saturday, January 30.

At one point, contractors working at the site were left without toilets after their loos were set on fire.

Falkirk Council bosses hit out at those causing mayhem last week, asking them to respect the ongoing work.

It's understood extra security measures were put in place on Monday, February 1.

Locals have again taken to social media.

One posted: "This is getting a f***ing joke now, absolute wasters."

Another said: "Their parents should be ashamed. If you can't respect the park, don't go. I hope they get the full force of the law."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone with information about this latest incident should contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 3668 30/01."
